Home Studio began with a longing for connection and belonging. One family’s dream to create a gathering place rooted in kindness, presence, and community became a home for movement, healing, and human connection. Together, we are practicing being human—with love, compassion, and care—in beautiful San Anselmo.
At Home Studio, we value delivering a high-quality yoga experience to our community.
We welcome all bodies, all backgrounds, all life stages. No need to perform or fit a mold. Come as you are to a space where you are met with kindness. Your presence is enough.
At Home Studio, part of our purpose is to make sure this space is inviting and supportive.
We believe that healing happens in community. Whether through movement, stillness, or a shared experience, connection softens us. It reminds us that we’re not alone — and that’s where transformation begins.
In our fast paced society, we practice yoga to slow down and come back to ourselves.
We value presence not as something we have to master, but as something we practice—in breath, in movement, in each moment of being human together.
Home Studio started as a feeling I couldn’t ignore.
I had a two-year-old wrapped around my leg and a six-month-old on my hip. I was tired, stretched thin, and craving something deeper than support: I was longing for belonging. For community.
I wanted to create something that served our whole beautiful town of San Anselmo. A space where people could come together, slow down, and really see each other. Yogis and parents and beyond. That dream became Home Studio.
My hope is that what we practice here, love, compassion, and kindness, ripples outward. So that when we pass each other at the store, or at Live on the Avenue, or on the trail, we’re a little softer. A little more open. That we recognize each other’s faces and our shared humanity.
Whether you're in the thick of parenting, an empty nester, a longtime practitioner, new to the mat, or just someone looking to feel more connected—there’s a place for you here.
We’re so glad you’re here.
Welcome Home!
With Love,
